Cutting Room 19 is a semicircular structure adjoining the turriform (tower-shaped) building. Since being excavated in the 1960s and 70s, this area been interpreted as a living space. The interior contains two fireplaces and some structural divisions that lay out the areas for different tasks, such as preparing and cutting up animals. In recent years renovation of the area and excavation of a sample of the original stratigraphy (in 2012-2013) have made it possible to state that it was built during the Talaiotic period (850-500 BC).
