    External circular enclosure

The circular enclosure located outside the wall is of a shape and size traditionally associated with a talaiot. However, a survey conducted in 2016 showed that the walls of the structure faces are thin, so it resembles a circular house more than a solid construction like a talaiot. Nor is there any evidence of a central pillar, a typical feature of talaiots, though little remains of the structure and it might not have survived. Nevertheless, pending further archaeological work, it can be described as an ancient structure that was probably built before the wall, the function of which remains unknown.
